Join our Technology Operations team, where you will play a pivotal role in our IT landscape, ensuring smooth operations and outstanding support for critical business functions globally. The team focuses on duty management, service support, infrastructure operations, change enablement, observability, and IT asset management. As an IT Support Technician, you will restore normal IT service operations within agreed service levels and business priorities and minimize the adverse impact on business operations for Emirates Group and External Clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deployment: Carry out all pre-requisite works for the installation of computers, peripheral devices, telephones, and other infrastructure components. Maintain quality of workmanship as per IT standards in all installation related activities.
  • Maintenance: Conduct routine preventative maintenance of various types of computers, printers, kiosks, and other data communication equipment. Carry out servicing and repair activity in accordance with IT standards. Maintain stock thresholds for spares and provide regular updates.
  • Support: Assist engineers in completing surveys, installations, and rectifying faults. Provide high-level support to team members and business users to achieve consistent customer satisfaction. Adhere to audit and finance regulations related to asset management and provide superior customer service to enhance customer perception and satisfaction.

Requirements
To be considered for the role, you must meet the following:

  • Vocational or Diploma (12+2 or equivalent)
  • 3+ years of overall work experience in Information Technology/Hardware
  • Completed course or equivalent of MCP Certification
  • UAE driving license
  • Experience in installation and cabling of LAN/WAN related networks
  • Minimum 2 years of experience within a Service Desk with the ability to react quickly, logically, and effectively under pressure
  • Knowledge of tools such as cable tester, crimping tools, and multi meter
  • Familiarity with all geographical areas in the Emirates
