Responsibilities
- Manage the product and delivery teams to define, deliver, and operate high-quality products and solutions that meet customer needs and expectations.
- Oversee the product portfolio lifecycle from concept to ongoing service management.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business goals and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful project delivery, product launches, and improvements.
- Oversee the lifecycle of all products in the portfolio from concept to launch and beyond.
- Lead technical product, delivery, and solution architecture resources to effectively define features, design solutions, and implement them on time and within budget.
- Accountability for the end-to-end product and solution delivery to the business, ensuring timely project delivery based on agreed scope, schedule, and budget commitments.
- Manage the product portfolio using financial, delivery, quality, and service metrics to monitor performance and inform roadmaps.
- Support the long-term investment strategy for the portfolio and act as a business partner to manage relationships with relevant business units.
- Develop, plan, and manage the IT budget, allocating resources efficiently while adjusting allocations according to project demands.
- Coach and develop cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT products and solutions on time and within budget.
- Build relationships with strategic IT external partners and subcontractors, ensuring they meet their commercial obligations.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in technology, software development practices, and industry standards relevant to the IT products supported for business customers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualifications: Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in an IT-related discipline.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.
- Knowledge/Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of Product Management and/or Project and Programme Management practices, ideally holding a certification from a recognised professional body (such as SAFe, Project Management Institute).
- Proven experience of technology product delivery at scale across multiple businesses.
- Evidence of leadership roles managing large-scale projects or an IT delivery function with people management.
- Expertise in stakeholder management and collaborative problem solving.
