The Senior Software Engineer - Anaplan is a fully participating member of an agile feature team working independently on software development and problem resolution. The role involves technical design, software development, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions/products that support the Emirates Group Business.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Working with senior technical engineers in the design process by contributing to the analysis of technical application requirements.
  • Converting technical solutions for small to medium sized initiatives into low-level design and working code.
  • Independently writing secure and optimized code in line with Emirates Group approved coding standards.
  • Participating in rotational on-call support and actively resolving production issues within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with minimal supervision.
  • Ensuring built-in quality and achieving 100% unit testing as part of the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Analyzing and fixing all identified defects with minimal rework.
  • Ensuring refactoring practices are adopted to mitigate code debt.
  • Implementing logging and monitoring hooks as part of code development.
  • Continuously staying up to date with relevant technologies and implementing learnings to enhance code quality.
  • Adhering to Emirates Group IT coding standards, guidelines, and best practices, and contributing to Software Engineering Playbooks and other standards documents.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Anaplan Certified Model Builder with hands-on experience implementing Anaplan solutions.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining Anaplan models, including lists, modules, actions, hierarchies, role-based access permissions, and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management activities, including version control, data import, testing, and deployment.
  • Good understanding and experience in transforming and implementing multi-dimensional structures using modeling tools to support business processes.
  • Experience in building user experience pages, including text, grids, charts, and optimizing Anaplan models.
  • Proficiency in Anaplan, Cloudworks, Anaplan Connect, and other relevant integrations.
  • Experience in Financial Analytics, Consolidation, Reporting, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools using Enterprise Performance Management platforms.
