As a Senior Technical Engineer, you will design, develop, and deliver robust, high-quality IT data solutions that align with business needs and corporate standards. You will serve as a technical expert and consultant, providing guidance to Emirates Group IT (EGIT) teams and ensuring the successful delivery of assigned work packages. This role is critical to ensuring that developed solutions meet service-level expectations in terms of availability, capacity, performance, security, and reliability.
In this role, you will:
- Provide expert technical consultancy and guidance to EGIT dealing within the technology area.
- Foster the development of high-performing technical teams to meet strategic architectural objectives.
- Develop IT solutions that meet customer requirements, ensuring design robustness and adherence to corporate standards.
- Collaborate with IT Technology teams to implement ongoing monitoring of the relevant technology.
- Ensure assigned incidents are resolved within the agreed service levels and problems are defined and analyzed in line with the Problem Management Process.
- Publish and maintain high-quality documentation and data catalogue for the technology area.
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a subject related to Computer Science or similar.
- 5+ years of working in Information Technology within Tooling & Metrics.
- Experience working in DevOps and/or Agile methodology (SAFE), Confluence, and JIRA.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in UX/UI design with proficiency in using tools like Figma, especially focusing on Power BI dashboards.
