The Opportunity
We’re looking for a SAP Finance Project Manager to join our rapidly expanding Technology Consulting team.
Key Profile Requirements:
- Demonstrated excellence in project management with experience in presentation to senior leadership.
- Ideally, 10+ years of relevant professional experience within SAP Digital Transformation (specifically SAP Finance) with experience as Program delivery lead and a minimum of 6 SAP implementation projects.
- Proven experience successfully leading and managing a team delivering digital transformation projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Consulting experience and SAP implementation experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of project managers and supervisors delivering projects throughout the entire project life cycle to meet project objectives.
- Maintain an overall view of all regions and workstreams.
- Ensure PMO has an appropriate governance structure in place.
- Ensure all areas have achievable plans and timelines that can be met.
- Mitigate or resolve risks and issues effectively.
- Report and raise issues to business stakeholders where program timelines or quality may be impacted.
- Attend Steering committee, change control board, and any other governance meetings as required.
- Ensure successful delivery of the program.
- Manage stakeholders and resolve issues.
- Lead the team to deliver projects on scope, budget, schedule, and required quality within client specifications.
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong program management skills and broad SAP application skills.
- Experience in financial accounting and closing operations, cost management, profitability analysis, New General Ledger, SAP S/4HANA Finance, cash management, bank management and treasury, and Central finance.
- Strong knowledge in SAP Activate/Agile/Hybrid implementation methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in leading finance streams, leading SAP projects, or having been in a PMO position.
- Strong knowledge of program management, project management standards, overseeing, and controlling projects.
- Good understanding of business processes and practices.
- Good public sector knowledge.
- Candidate should be an Arabic speaker.
- Demonstrated track record managing teams and complex engagements in the consulting arena.
