In Financial Accounting & Advisory Services (FAAS) within Assurance, we assist our clients in addressing accounting and financial reporting challenges. As a Data Science professional in our Data & AI team, you will assist businesses in leveraging their data effectively. Your responsibilities will include identifying use-cases, developing value propositions, designing and testing hypotheses, constructing the necessary data golden record, selecting appropriate features, and handling the end-to-end use-case development cycle, including AI-ML ops and model deployment.
You will work with subject matter experts, business leaders, data architects, and data engineers, ensuring that deliverables meet client expectations. This role will be based in Riyadh with a center of excellence in Jordan, supporting MENA client engagements and requiring travel based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage up to two projects alongside senior business leaders, helping clients determine a FAAS strategy that effectively addresses risks and client deliverable expectations.
- Assist clients in realizing value from data through specific AI-ML use cases.
- Ensure timely delivery of work in compliance with regulatory requirements, executing the FAAS service delivery framework effectively.
- Monitor the performance of the FAAS engagement team against the budget and communicate relevant trends and developments to clients.
- Consult on complex accounting issues and participate in new FAAS work sales.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with approximately 5 to 6 years of related work experience.
- Experience in a global consulting firm handling a team of at least four people.
- Hands-on experience with Data Science coding and languages like Python and Pyspark, and tools such as Jupyter Notebooks, DataRobot, DataIku.
- A demonstrated track record of translating business challenges into use-cases, measuring the value derived from AI-ML initiatives.
- Industry expertise in one or two domains such as Government, Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, or Telecom.
- Strong technical skills, cautious risk management ability, and an understanding of emerging technologies like ChatGPT, LLM, Cloud, Data Fabric, and Data Mesh.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in the Arabic language is preferred.
