Expert Test Engineer - Service Transition

As an Expert Test Engineer in Service Transition, you will collaborate with leadership to develop strategic plans for transition activities. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Guiding the creation of road maps and implementation plans for project releases.
• Coordinating project plans for release communications to stakeholders.
• Creating change requests from RTC to HPSM for implementation.
• Reviewing implemented changes and preparing release post-implementation review reports.
• Updating the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) based on feedback from IT service owners, development, and implementation projects.
• Assessing impact, monitoring progress, and managing risks and issues related to change releases and configurations of services.
• Chairing the Change Advisory Board group.
• Defining and refining change release and configuration management processes with stakeholders and functional release managers.
• Ensuring the CMDB's currency and accuracy.
• Coordinating change and release activities with internal stakeholders.
• Developing and maintaining a comprehensive and accurate CMDB to support all CIT processes.
• Scheduling and controlling the movement of all releases to testing and live environments in collaboration with managers.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 to 15 years of experience in relevant roles.
• Knowledge of ITIL, Change Management, System Administration, and IT Administration.
