Join us as an Apprentice Simulator Engineer in an exciting new opportunity to help launch a state-of-the-art flight training center in Dubai, UAE. This advanced facility, equipped with six top-tier full-flight simulators, will be at the forefront of aviation training, making it an ideal environment for ambitious engineers to grow.

In this role, you'll support day-to-day operations to ensure a smooth, efficient, and high-quality experience for all who train here. You’ll work alongside industry experts, developing valuable skills and playing a critical part in the success of our brand-new center. Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support & Maintenance: Support, monitor, and maintain simulator training devices, ensuring daily operational readiness and performing scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues and Aircraft On Ground (AOG) events on training devices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Improve maintenance procedures, manage recurrent updates, and support updates to operational software.
  • Inventory & Logistics Management: Manage consumable inventory, tools, and logistics, preparing items for shipping.
  • Skills Growth: Develop expertise in simulator systems such as Visual Systems, Motion, or Flight Controls.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Aviation-related fields.
  • Aviation Knowledge: Foundational understanding of various aircraft, especially commercial jetliners (e.g., Airbus family) and training device terminology.
  • Language Proficiency: Strong command of English (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential.
  • Customer Focus: Ability to build and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with computer systems, including architecture, networking, operating systems, and basic programming languages.
  • Training Insight: Basic understanding of principles and practices in commercial aviation training.
