Sr. Solution Architect - Data Governance

About the Job:
The Sr. Solution Architect - Data Governance will be responsible for analyzing BI requirements and designing DWH physical and logical data models, maintaining existing models by integrating new sources to enhance BI capabilities. This role involves acting as the interface between Business and BI to deliver optimal BI solutions, collaborating closely with clients to identify and define complex business requirements and processes, conducting unit testing for provided test cases, developing quality controls for ongoing model monitoring, validating data quality for DWH ETL jobs and models, investigating operational issues, providing root cause analysis, and implementing data governance frameworks focused on data quality.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Part-time

Key Responsibilities:

• 5+ years of experience in DWH/Big Data data modeling.
• Proficiency in DWH dimensional modeling, particularly for Telecom.
• Experience with standard Telecom data models such as TEDW, LCDM, etc.
• Knowledge of IBM Netezza or similar data warehouse databases (e.g., Teradata or Oracle).
• Understanding big data fundamentals and advanced SQL skills.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, preferably using IBM DataStage.
• Experience with Agile development and the Scrum framework.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud fundamentals.
• Strong skill set in data governance and data quality frameworks.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• 4 to 5 years of relevant experience.
