Job Description
As a Senior Flutter Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient front-end services using Flutter within an event-driven architecture to support our consumer app. You will join one of our feature squads (payment, onboarding, trading) and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, developers, and solutions architects, to deliver a seamless and engaging app experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Hands-on coding, code reviews, and troubleshooting to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Architecting and implementing user-friendly interfaces and features.
- Mentoring and reviewing code for mid and junior level front-end developers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Collaborating with designers to create pixel-perfect UI/UX components.
- Working closely with product managers to understand and implement feature requirements.
- Identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing optimizations.
- Advocating for best practices in software engineering, including agile development and automated testing.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in frontend development and Flutter.
- Participating in the entire app lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and release.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications and development guidelines.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Front-End Developer or in a similar role, preferably in mission-critical systems or financial applications.
- Strong proficiency in web development technologies (Flutter, React, etc.).
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Proficient in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
- Experience working on B2C applications is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with trading or financial applications and their specific requirements.
