TSYS PRIME Developer

About
We are seeking a skilled Prime TSYS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Prime TSYS (Total System Services) applications. They will work closely with other developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Prime TSYS applications in accordance with project requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement software solutions that integrate with Prime TSYS platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance.
• Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify and address any defects or performance issues.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for Prime TSYS applications in production environments, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Document technical designs, code, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the payments industry, and evaluate their potential impact on Prime TSYS development.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project timelines, priorities, and goals.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on Prime TSYS development best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Prime TSYS development, with expertise in designing and implementing solutions on Prime platforms.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, and familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with Prime TSYS APIs, interfaces, and integration techniques.
• Knowledge of payment processing concepts and industry standards (ISO 8583, EMV, PCI DSS).
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications in Prime TSYS development or payments technology (e.g., TSYS Developer, Certified Payment Professional) are a plus.
