Job Description: Systems Engineer – SecOps/Incident Response

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to closely collaborate with an Incident Response sales representative within a defined territory. The main mission of the Systems Engineer is to support the sales organization in all technical matters related to monitoring, detecting, and reporting security threats, providing pre-sales expertise, as well as handling sales calls and post-sales activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all technical aspects of the sales cycle, utilizing security platforms such as FortiSOAR, FortiSIEM, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiClient with enterprise customers.
  • Manage the project lifecycle from initial RFIs through RFPs and RFQs, ensuring active participation in POCs in liaison with both internal teams and customers.
  • Understand and analyze customer technical requirements to build superior solutions that outperform competitor offerings.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, in close collaboration with the sales team.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions, along with a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Effectively position Fortinet solutions to customers through various communication methods, including whiteboarding, technical documents, and discussions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer and prospect activity within our CRM system (Salesforce) while managing time effectively across multiple deals to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • High aptitude for security technology, particularly in encryption and authentication; knowledge in network security, intrusion detection, and related fields is desirable. CISSP accreditation is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a pre-sales engineer role, managing technical aspects of deals to successful closure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated impact on key wins within prior organizations.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships and effectively communicate technical information to both external clients and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and technologies such as RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, and SSH.
