Applied Scientist

Responsibilities

• Perform the entire R&D cycle for new and existing products that use Computer vision methodologies
• Design new algorithms for different purposes
• Perform data analysis for different requirements
• Work with peers to develop novel algorithms and modeling techniques
• Communicate ideas and results effectively
• Collaborate with commercial and technical teams towards deployment of AI models in production scenarios

Qualifications

• Requirements: Masters or Equivalent Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or relevant field
• Publication record in top tier journals and conferences will be given preference
• Strong desire to integrate innovation with product development
• Proficiency in Python/C/C++ and common DL libraries
• Good understanding of deep neural networks used in computer vision applications
• Sound understanding of probabilistic systems and statistical models
• Proficiency in English language, both verbal and written
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines
• Effective team player with excellent relationship building skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Flexibility
• Knowledge of Arabic is a plus
