GAC Marine is seeking an IT Manager to join its team at the Abu Dhabi marine base. The IT Manager will take ownership of GAC Marine's IT infrastructure and services, ensuring effective technological support for maritime operations and the office to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. This leadership role will drive digital transformation initiatives across GAC Marine, focusing on modernizing fleet operations and corporate management.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Business Management:
- Maintain, upgrade, and support IT systems.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the company’s IT infrastructure.
- Maintain records of software and hardware inventory.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and products.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Provide technical support and training to staff as needed.
- Align with Group IT on standards and implementation initiatives.

Digital Transformation:
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across functions within GAC Marine.
- Implement technologies such as P2P, PMS, Crewing, and HRMS.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and software solutions.

Regulatory Compliance:
- Administer network and data security, including active directory, firewalls, virus protection, and email security.
- Develop and enforce IT policies to ensure compliance with regulations.

Technical Fleet & Business Support:
- Support the Fleet Technical Engineer in implementing Operations Maintenance and Navigation solutions.
- Analyze and monitor system performance, making recommendations for improvements.
- Participate in scheduled business management meetings and report on initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in an IT management role, ideally in the maritime or logistics industry.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
- Familiarity with maritime software systems and applications.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
- Demonstrated success in implementing large-scale IT change programs.
