To maintain competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for a "Network Security Engineer". The job purpose is to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and high availability of network infrastructure, including network security across all Geidea regions, to provide maximum performance and meet defined SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the running of Geidea's network security infrastructure in KSA, UAE, India, and Egypt, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of CISCO routers, switches, and firewalls (Fortigate, Palo Alto), and F5.
  • Configure and maintain all PCI rules for network and security devices within Geidea PCI Scope.
  • Provide and solve L3 level support and networking complex problems.
  • Maintain backup configuration in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and update all documents related to NOC, LAN, WAN, and NSP network infrastructure.
  • Investigate and resolve issues on the Geidea network using troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Ensure accurate recording of all cases using the company’s ticket management tool.
  • Share best practices across the network team and involve them in new configurations or activities.
  • Support the team with knowledge sharing through communications and contributions at team meetings.
  • Ensure tickets’ SLAs and KPIs are achieved and adhere to escalation procedures and policies.
  • Report events and disturbances jeopardizing security and review best practices related to PCI-DSS and other security frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT is a plus.
  • CCIE certificate is a plus.
  • Vendor-specific certifications such as F5, Palo Alto, and FortiGate are a must.
  • Fin-tech background is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge in documentation and design.
  • PCI-DSS background is a plus and knowledge in F5, firewalls, and router switches is required.
