About the Job:
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Network Engineer located in Saudi Arabia. This onsite position involves several responsibilities aimed at ensuring the effective design, implementation, and support of network and system requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Gather information about the capabilities of company products and assess competing solutions.
- Generate quantifiable requirements based on customer descriptions and system planning.
- Translate high-level product development strategies into detailed network and system specifications.
- Establish and coordinate development of standards, practices, and procedures related to network and system development.
- Design interfaces and integrate network and system elements to function cohesively.
- Monitor system performance and implement tuning procedures while reviewing test plans to meet contractual objectives.
- Install new hardware, systems, and software for networks, designing and creating network services and equipment.
- Act as a customer liaison, supporting business development activities and shaping requirements as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Clearance required: Secret.
- At least five years of Network Engineering experience, primarily with the US Navy or comparable Department of Defense (DoD) agencies.
- Minimum of two years of experience with network management tools, and three years of experience in network design and operations.
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+.
- Experience working OCONUS in security cooperation efforts with foreign customers.
Preferred Skills:
- Five years of experience supporting C4I systems and NAVWAR prime mission products.
- Experience interacting with both US and foreign senior military/government officials.
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering.
Salary Range:
USD $90,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 per year.
