About the Job:
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Systems Engineer. This position will be located in Saudi Arabia and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities:

  • Gathers information concerning the capabilities of Company products; investigates the technical capabilities of Company products and competing equipment/solutions; stays abreast of developments in hardware and software.
  • Generates quantifiable requirements based on customer descriptions, system planning, and design, ensuring requirements comply through formal verification methods.
  • Translates high-level product development strategies into network and system requirement specifications and collaborates with other engineering disciplines to develop detailed implementation requirements.
  • Establishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures related to network and system development.
  • Designs interfaces and integrates network and system elements to work cohesively.
  • Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
  • Acts as a customer liaison and supports business development activities to understand and shape requirements.
  • Coordinates the planning, design, and installation of equipment using knowledge of engineering and programming along with sophisticated instruments and computers.
  • Participates in system conceptual design and documentation.
  • Installs new hardware, systems, and software for networks.
  • Designs, creates, and builds network services, equipment, and devices.
  • Generates system-level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures.
  • Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning.
  • Reviews test plans/procedures ensuring they meet contractual objectives and participates in the testing process to validate requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Technical field.
  • 5 - 8 years of experience as an engineer supporting C4I systems such as GCCS, NAVMACS, HF, UHF, VHF Radios and Antennas, Tactical Data Links (Link-11, 16, 22), CENTRIXS, Network Communications, SATCOM, ADSI, or VBSS.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) equipment such as radars, GPS, AIS, APS, CCTV, VTC, etc.
  • Experience working OCONUS in security cooperation efforts or for foreign customers.
  • Experience with foreign disclosure reviews or similar experience, interacting with US Government and foreign senior military/government officials.
  • Strong skills in requirement analysis, including site surveys and System Operation Verification Tests (SOVTs).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with NAVWAR prime mission products.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Systems Engineering and Technical Reviews (SETR).
  • Completion of DISAM SCM courses such as SCM-C.
  • DISAM International Affairs Certification Level 1 or above.
  • Master's Degree in an Engineering field.

Clearance Required: Secret

Salary Range: USD $90,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 per year
