About the Job:
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Systems Engineer. This position will be located in Saudi Arabia and will be an onsite position.
Responsibilities:
- Gathers information concerning the capabilities of Company products; investigates the technical capabilities of Company products and competing equipment/solutions; stays abreast of developments in hardware and software.
- Generates quantifiable requirements based on customer descriptions, system planning, and design, ensuring requirements comply through formal verification methods.
- Translates high-level product development strategies into network and system requirement specifications and collaborates with other engineering disciplines to develop detailed implementation requirements.
- Establishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures related to network and system development.
- Designs interfaces and integrates network and system elements to work cohesively.
- Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
- Acts as a customer liaison and supports business development activities to understand and shape requirements.
- Coordinates the planning, design, and installation of equipment using knowledge of engineering and programming along with sophisticated instruments and computers.
- Participates in system conceptual design and documentation.
- Installs new hardware, systems, and software for networks.
- Designs, creates, and builds network services, equipment, and devices.
- Generates system-level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures.
- Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning.
- Reviews test plans/procedures ensuring they meet contractual objectives and participates in the testing process to validate requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a Technical field.
- 5 - 8 years of experience as an engineer supporting C4I systems such as GCCS, NAVMACS, HF, UHF, VHF Radios and Antennas, Tactical Data Links (Link-11, 16, 22), CENTRIXS, Network Communications, SATCOM, ADSI, or VBSS.
- At least 3 years of experience working with Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) equipment such as radars, GPS, AIS, APS, CCTV, VTC, etc.
- Experience working OCONUS in security cooperation efforts or for foreign customers.
- Experience with foreign disclosure reviews or similar experience, interacting with US Government and foreign senior military/government officials.
- Strong skills in requirement analysis, including site surveys and System Operation Verification Tests (SOVTs).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with NAVWAR prime mission products.
- 3+ years of experience supporting Systems Engineering and Technical Reviews (SETR).
- Completion of DISAM SCM courses such as SCM-C.
- DISAM International Affairs Certification Level 1 or above.
- Master's Degree in an Engineering field.
Clearance Required: Secret
Salary Range: USD $90,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 per year
