Job Summary:
An AI Engineer at HALCON will be a trainee in the field of AI, responsible for building and training AI models for various datasets across different AI domains. The role requires knowledge of AI frameworks, teamwork within an AI department, and contribution to AI prototyping, evaluation, and testing. Candidates will also be responsible for writing technical documentation and reports.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) algorithms to enhance HALCON's products and services.
  • Write technical procedures and specifications regarding existing AI solutions for systems and subsystems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address problems using AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Perform data analytics to derive valuable insights from diverse datasets and create data visualizations to effectively communicate these insights to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of models, algorithms, and sensor fusion methods, providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Build predictive models using advanced AI techniques and data analysis.
  • Write technical and non-technical documents, presenting findings and results to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in research activities to stay updated with the latest developments in AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and predictive modeling, proposing AI solutions as needed.
  • Implement object detection, tracking, recognition, predictive, and classification techniques across various AI domains including ML/DL, computer vision (CV), and natural language processing (NLP).

Experience & Education Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of applicable experience in deploying smart AI solutions, ML/DL, and computer vision (CV).
  • Exposure to natural language processing (NLP), robotics, expert systems, sensor fusion, predictive analytics, and automation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with deploying AI solutions on edge devices and knowledge of computational power optimization.

Training/Qualifications:

  • AI-related training or qualifications are preferred.
