Position

Help AG, an e& enterprise company, is seeking an OT Maintenance Security Engineer who will be primarily responsible for delivering maintenance support for OT Cybersecurity services. This role is essential to ensure the operational performance, availability, and compliance of OT cybersecurity assets and infrastructure in accordance with relevant standards, regulations, and security baselines. This position is open exclusively to UAE Nationals possessing a family book.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of OT/ICS cybersecurity systems.
  • Update asset inventory reflecting site-based changes.
  • Support preventive maintenance onboarding and tracking in SAP.
  • Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance (PM) activities in coordination with site teams, adhering to defined KPIs and metrics.
  • Conduct configuration, health, access, and functionality reviews of OT/ICS cybersecurity systems.
  • Assist with all phases of the Maintenance & Support Services Framework—from scope definition to contract award.
  • Manage Work Orders and maintenance plans per framework agreements.
  • Continuously optimize and improve maintenance plans and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain asset management processes and procedures for OT cybersecurity.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate cybersecurity asset lists across all sites.
  • Analyze OT network topologies and data flows to assess risks and dependencies.
  • Lead support for all maintenance types—preventive, corrective, and emergency response.
  • Ensure baseline configurations are maintained, and changes are documented via MOC processes.
  • Support system backups, restoration procedures, and documentation integrity.
  • Develop and review scopes of work (SOW), including Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for new OT cybersecurity framework agreements.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and vendors to finalize contract technical specifications and evaluations.
  • Provide technical input for contract finalization, budget estimations, and procurement planning.
  • Support the annual maintenance budgeting process, including site-level forecasts and asset lifecycle planning.
  • Maintain regular reporting structures: daily activity reports, weekly timesheets, monthly PM reports, and quarterly summaries.
  • Engage with internal teams across OT Cybersecurity operations, Group Risk & Compliance, BCP, and vulnerability management.
  • Participate in evaluations of emerging technologies, tools, and third-party services.
  • Contribute to the development and updating of OT cybersecurity documentation.
  • Support cybersecurity risk assessments, audits, and incident response activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics/Computer/Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 7–10 years of experience in IT/OT cybersecurity, with at least 3 years specifically in OT/ICS environments.
  • Experience with DCS, SCADA, and PLC systems from vendors like Honeywell, Yokogawa, ABB, Schneider Electric, and Siemens.
  • Hands-on experience in cybersecurity system maintenance, risk management, system hardening, and network protection.
  • Familiarity with IEC 62443, NIST, CIS CSC, and ITIL frameworks.
  • Knowledge of malware & patch management and application whitelisting.
  • Experience in OT system health checks, incident response, asset & configuration management, managing service agreements, and vendor engagements.

Preferred Certifications:

  • GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals
  • CCNA (R&S or Cybersecurity)
  • CISSP, GCIA, GDSA, GCWN
  • ITIL/ITSM
  • OT certifications from industrial vendors
