Job Description

The Regional Self Service Device Engineering Lead at HSBC is primarily responsible for the technical engineering aspects of Self-Service Channels (ATMs and CQMs) in MENAT, providing local (UAE) support for day-to-day operations, vendor management, incident management, etc. The role acts as a single point of contact between MENAT teams and the Global SSE Engineering team, also offering support for European markets when needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Providing effective support for project delivery
  • Implementing robust planning and technical SSE skills
  • Capacity to handle specific requests for the domain
  • Ability to provide support after business hours and on weekends
  • Engaging in ATM Software certification, testing, piloting, and deployment
  • Managing SSE security environment and risk management
  • Ensuring SSE Channel uptime and availability
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and maintaining project delivery
  • Adhering to processes and resolving non-conformance issues
  • Working closely with Self Service teams, business, operations, and stakeholders
  • Participating in Major Incident Reviews and Service Improvement Programs
  • Adhering to internal controls and Group compliance policy
  • Managing and reporting SLA breaches

Requirements Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an IT discipline
  • Experience in Windows Operating system
  • Security Patching through SCCM
  • Active Directory/ GPO and SCCM infrastructure knowledge
  • McAfee suite applications knowledge
  • Stakeholder and VRM Management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 3+ years’ experience in SSE Domain
  • Ability to deliver under pressure & tight deadlines
  • Experience with Agile processes and lifecycle
  • Ability to work in an unstructured and changing environment
  • Customer-focused, results-based approach
  • Good knowledge of IT policies and practices
