As a Package Consultant, you will be at the forefront of addressing mission-critical company directives at IBM. Your role involves designing, developing, and re-engineering complex application components, while integrating software using various tools. Utilizing your consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise, you will effectively incorporate packaged technology into clients' business environments, driving significant business results.
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this client-facing position, you will sell, lead, and implement expert services using IBM's wide range of offerings and technologies. Successful consultants are seen as trusted business advisors, working collaboratively with clients to devise innovative solutions for their most pressing business challenges.
You will embark on projects that aid clients in integrating strategy, processes, technology, and information, aimed at increasing organizational effectiveness, reducing costs, and enhancing profitability and shareholder value. The role offers opportunities for skill mastery, interdisciplinary collaboration, and industry understanding.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deploy modern SAP Analytics/Reporting solutions with both functional and technical expertise in SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM).
- Engage directly with customers for hands-on delivery and provide strategic insights on effective project/program management from blueprint to go-live.
- Work within a high-performance consulting team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality delivery and team engagement.
- Lead small project teams and serve as an individual contributor, focused on maintaining high standards of delivery, thought leadership, and strengthening relationships with key partners.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of SAP PaPM capabilities, business processes, configuration requirements, and integration with other technologies, advising clients on using SAP as a strategic asset in their Finance Transformation journeys.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong understanding of FP&A and Finance processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP PaPM, including data modeling, process setup, and governance.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4 Finance concepts such as Chart of Accounts and profit center hierarchies.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Background in SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, SAP COPA, and Margin Analysis.
- Understanding of SAP HANA, SAP BW, and HANA SQL.
- Knowledge of trends in SAP Analytics & Finance and a willingness to learn and grow expertise in emerging financial technologies.
