About the Job:

KPMG Cyber has been acknowledged by Forrester as a leader in the provision of cybersecurity consultancy. We are expanding our cyber consulting team to meet the growing demand and provide comprehensive services to many of the largest companies globally.

In this role, you will be a Security Architect within the Cyber transformation Capability, helping to deliver high-quality consulting services to clients. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in securing on-premise and cloud environments, network infrastructure, and endpoints. You will be involved in diverse engagements, guiding clients on managing security risks in traditional, hyper-virtualized, or cloud environments; assessing and advising on security architectures; delivering automation of security controls; and integrating security into digital customer journeys.

Our clients are under regulatory scrutiny and must navigate a rapidly changing cyber threat landscape while seizing digital opportunities. Your ability to translate complex cybersecurity issues into straightforward, jargon-free advice will be crucial for their success.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver client engagements ensuring quality and value.
  • Understand clients' business challenges and the cyber threats they face.
  • Navigate cybersecurity regulatory environments.
  • Advise on cyber security governance, frameworks, and operating models.
  • Optimize approaches to technical cyber security controls and risk management.
  • Define cyber security transformation journeys using security architecture principles.
  • Conduct Security Architecture Assessments across various domains.
  • Advise on adopting Zero Trust principles for infrastructure and network security.
  • Link cybersecurity to other consultancy offerings for holistic support.
  • Engage in presales and business development activities.
  • Build and maintain constructive client relationships.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and uphold KPMG’s values.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree level qualified.
  • Proven experience in security architecture, cloud security, and cyber risk management.
  • Knowledge of security controls across multiple layers of the IT architecture stack.
  • Experience with next-gen Cyber Security Operations Centers and delivering cybersecurity services.
  • Familiarity with cloud service providers, including Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of interacting at a senior level.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, MS Azure, AWS Certification).

Language Requirements: Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) are essential.
