The Advisors & Consulting Services team within Mastercard is focused on acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers through the management of fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the overall digital payments experience. Our team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard's extensive data assets and cutting-edge technologies to provide clients with strategic insights and tailored recommendations.

As a Managing Consultant within our Strategy & Transformation specialization, you will lead clients through strategic decision-making processes, tackling operational and transformational challenges. You will work with a diverse global customer base from various industries, providing unique insights that enhance overall client strategy and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead client engagements across various industries and problem statements.
  • Develop strategies and programs for regional and global clients leveraging data and technology solutions.
  • Cultivate key relationships with mid-level to senior client stakeholders, independently assessing their agendas and readiness for change.
  • Deliver impactful presentations and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Collaborate with internal Mastercard stakeholders to scope projects and develop client-focused solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior consultants.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree with experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business intelligence, product management, or similar fields.
  • Experience coaching and managing teams in structured problem-solving environments.
  • Strong relationship management skills with clients.
  • Proficient in business KPIs, financials, and organizational leadership.
  • Ability to identify business development opportunities and draft proposals.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Effective communication in English and the local office language (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in creating innovative solutions within a firm.
  • Relevant industry expertise.
  • MBA or master's degree (not required).
