We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with MySQL, Azure database services, and managing large-scale B2C infrastructures. This key role requires strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset to support and optimize our mission-critical databases.
Key Responsibilities:

Database Management: Design, implement, and maintain MySQL databases for high-availability, performance, and scalability. Monitor and manage database performance, ensuring optimal efficiency and uptime.

Azure Integration & Cloud Management: Leverage Azure database services for migration, optimization, and scalability. Manage Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless database performance and availability.

Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize query performance, schema design, and indexing strategies. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in real-time.

Support & Troubleshooting: Provide 24/7 support for critical database issues. Troubleshoot complex database-related problems and implement effective solutions.

Security & Compliance: Ensure databases meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS). Implement robust database security measures.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and performance metrics.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Experience: 8+ years as a DBA with a focus on MySQL and expertise in Azure database services.

Skills: Strong understanding of database architecture, design, and optimization techniques. Experience with database security, encryption, and access controls is essential.
