As a Senior Software Engineer at Mozn, you will be responsible for developing next-generation technologies in fraud detection and prevention. This involves working on a high-performance Software as a Service (SaaS) platform capable of processing a large volume of transactions per second. You will bring innovative concepts from diverse domains including information retrieval, distributed computing, and AI.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and enhance high-performance software components.
- Write clean and maintainable code, conduct peer code reviews, and ensure code quality.
- Participate in a DevOps/agile team with full lifecycle and full-stack responsibilities.
- Develop unit tests for a continuous integration environment.
- Identify and implement best practices for coding and development processes.
- Collaborate with Scrum Master, Product Management, and other team members.
- Engage in self-reflection to enhance personal growth and team effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- MSc/BSc in Computer Science or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role; professional certifications are a plus.
- Previous professional experience in fraud prevention or fintech is preferred.
- Excellent bilingual verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid experience with Go programming language is essential.
- Hands-on experience with concurrency and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with version control tools (Git) and distributed computing principles.
- Competence in integrating data from multiple sources and proficient with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, Postgres, Redis).
- Need to be humble, excellent, relevant, and possess a strong sense of ownership.
