Senior Manager - Robotics & Automation

About the Job:
As a senior manager in the robotics and automation department, you will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of robotics and automation initiatives, from ideation to delivery. This includes areas such as 3D printing, factory, and field robotics. The role demands exceptional project and stakeholder management skills, along with strong technical and commercial acumen in robotics and automation.

Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Collaborate with executive management to define the company's robotics and automation strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and continuous innovation.
• Project Management: Lead the lifecycle of robotics and automation projects, handling scoping, procurement, planning, resource allocation, budget management, risk management, and timely delivery.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of robotics and automation professionals, fostering collaboration and excellence.
• Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Identify emerging technologies, conduct feasibility studies, and make informed decisions on automation systems, robotics components, and process optimization.
• Stakeholder Management: Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify robotics and automation needs and ensure seamless integration across operational areas.
• Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Implement performance metrics and evaluation frameworks to track the effectiveness of initiatives and analyze data to identify improvement areas.

Knowledge and Experience:

• A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of robotics and automation, 3D printing, and construction management processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of developing value propositions and translating them into operational projects.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A project management qualification is desired.
