Research Engineer

The Research Engineer will join the Emerging Advanced Research Acceleration for Emerging Technology, Security, and Cryptology Center under Dr. Hoda Alkhzaimi. The role involves designing and implementing advanced technological solutions, developing and maintaining software and hardware tools, and collaborating with researchers to integrate innovations. Key responsibilities include:

• Working on projects involving secure hardware systems, cryptographic software tools, and AI-driven cybersecurity measures.
• Engaging in machine learning, security analysis, and advanced prototyping.
• Building and evaluating prototypes of novel solutions with high Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) and global impact.
• Conducting online surveys and experiments as well as ensuring smooth operation of laboratory equipment and software.
• Contributing to the preparation of research proposals and reports.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in developing technological solutions for research.
• Strong technical skills in software and hardware development.
