Senior Network Engineer

noon is the region's leading consumer commerce platform, having launched its services in Saudi Arabia and the UAE in December 2017 and expanding to Egypt in February 2019. The noon ecosystem includes marketplaces for food delivery, quick-commerce, fintech, and fashion. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and supporting critical infrastructure, working closely with business teams and fellow engineers. Your responsibilities will include day-to-day operational support, as well as opportunities to engage in innovative projects.

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and manage telephony technologies, including Microsoft Teams, Asterisk, CUCM, CUBE, and SIP.
• Design, configure, and maintain PBX and VoIP systems, managing SIP trunks and phone lines.
• Implement Quality of Service (QoS) for voice traffic, and maintain Cisco ASA and FTD Firewalls.
• Configure and install networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) and perform system upgrades.
• Manage network security technologies and support IT infrastructure.
• Provide 24/7 operations support and troubleshooting for network and telephony-related issues.
• Conduct technical meetings with vendors and analyze current capacity for resource demand.
• Document networking hardware/software and maintain service records for problem resolution.

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
• CCNA Routing and Switching and CCNP Routing and Switching or CCNP Enterprise certification.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS is an advantage.
• Familiarity with network monitoring solutions, hardware devices (Cisco Meraki, Nexus, Catalyst), and network infrastructure.

Language Requirements:

• Proficiency in English is expected. Additional language skills may be advantageous.
