We are looking for an experienced Consulting Architect to join our Professional Services team in Saudi Arabia. The Architect will work in our Services organization to help clients establish architectural vision and direction. He or she will assist clients in designing, deploying, and migrating complex applications while collaborating with software developers, consultants, and engineers to create scalable and repeatable solutions for partners.
About The Team
The Nutanix Professional Services team plays a pivotal role in the success of each Nutanix implementation. The Services function engages with customers during both pre-sales and post-sales stages, assisting in their software-defined data center (SDDC) strategy and architecture. In addition to implementing Nutanix products successfully, the Professional Services team collaborates with our partners to ensure customers fully realize the advantages of their virtualized and software-defined data centers. Our Consulting function encompasses assessment, design, implementation, integration, and automation services along with project management.
Your Role
As a virtualization technology specialist passionate about cloud automation, you will have expertise in infrastructure and network virtualization, a good understanding of business-critical and cloud-native applications, and data center operations. Your responsibilities include:
- Leading workshops and consulting engagements with customers.
- Delivering pre-packaged Nutanix consulting solutions efficiently.
- Taking ownership of business outcomes for virtualization and automation projects through requirements capture and technical governance.
- Crafting detailed design documents as well as conducting hands-on implementations.
- Collaborating with project managers on budgets and all aspects of efficient delivery.
- Providing technical input for projects during the pre-sales phase.
- Advising internal groups with accurate effort estimations.
- Identifying future service opportunities within projects or customers.
- Driving practice activities, including the development of best practices, intellectual property capture, quality assurance, and peer reviews.
- Maintaining current knowledge of the entire Nutanix product stack.
What You Will Bring
- Experience architecting complex data center solutions with multi-site cloud architectures.
- Sound understanding of Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) concepts and implementations.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, capable of developing advanced architectural design documentation.
- Influencing and negotiating skills, recognized as a technical authority by customers and peers.
- Proven hands-on experience with Nutanix AHV or other industry-leading virtualization products (e.g., vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX, vSAN, SRM) in large-scale IT production data centers.
- At least 8 years of experience in designing and implementing data center infrastructure virtualization projects covering compute, network, and storage.
- Collaboration with engineering on product improvements.
- Leading client escalations.
- Nutanix NCP/NCS certification or VMware VCAP would be highly regarded.
- Industry certifications for Data Center and Networking (e.g., LPIC, MSCA, CCNA, and equivalent).
- Strong background in Windows and Linux systems administration.
- Native Arabic Speaker.
