As an Autonomous Database Specialist at Oracle, a leader in cloud computing worldwide, you will play a key role in guiding customers to define platform requirements and realize the value of their subscriptions. Your responsibilities will span from pre-sales to service consumption, requiring collaboration with both customers and internal teams. In a landscape where data generation outpaces manual management, autonomous databases are essential solutions, blending Oracle Database capabilities with cloud services managed by Oracle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide customers toward achieving database platform excellence by adopting best practices and tools in Infrastructure, Database Workload, and Autonomous Database Security.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure complete and actionable solutions.
- Accelerate customer opportunities through technical presentations, workshops, and solution assistance.
- Research and evaluate emerging solutions and services for continuous improvement.
- Create external publications and internal documentation focusing on Autonomous Database operations.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience engaging with customers and internal stakeholders, especially in trusted advisor roles with C-level executives.
- Strong experience with Oracle Database and Database Administration, as well as knowledge of Exadata Cloud Services, Cloud at Customer, and Data Centre Networking and Security.
- Familiarity with converged database concepts, data integration, and migration.
- Deep knowledge of Database Architecture and OCI.
- Proven problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and an aptitude for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
