As an Oracle Database @ Azure/GCP Specialist, you will focus on delivering technical and procedural guidance to assist customers in defining platform requirements through to realizing subscription value. Collaboration will be a key characteristic of your work, engaging both with customers and internal teams, including other specialists and product management.

What You’ll Do

• Guide customers in adopting Oracle Database @Azure and GCP to achieve Database platform excellence through best practices in Infrastructure, Database Workload, and Database Security.
• Collaborate with multi-functional technical teams to ensure solutions are comprehensive and actionable.
• Accelerate customer opportunities through technical presentations, workshops, and solution assistance.
• Research and evaluate emerging solutions and services for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate directly with product management to influence features based on customer input and requirements.
• Create compelling assets, including external publications and internal documentation focused on Oracle Database@Azure/GCP.

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years of Solution Engineering experience with a Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to engage with customers and internal stakeholders to hold strategic conversations around Exadata Cloud@Customer, especially with C-level executives regarding IT services and technology solutions’ business value and risk.
• Experience with Oracle Database, Data Center Networking, and Security.
• General knowledge of other hybrid Cloud offerings and Data Center topologies.
• Strong understanding of OCI with hands-on experience in workload optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the capability to address complex technical issues in hybrid cloud-based environments.
• Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new technical domains.
