Position

The Revenue Operations Solution Center is a globally organized pre-sales deal support group of experts whose mission is to provide ultimate expertise to focus on customer’s business requirements and help win sales opportunities or accelerate cloud consumption. Using the RevOps Solution Center, customers can architect, customize and test their solutions with Oracle Cloud, Cloud@Customer, on-premises systems, and hybrid and multi-cloud scenarios in a secure, scalable, and interoperable environment for all deployment models.

If you are interested in highly technical hands-on challenges, delivering customer-facing activities with real-life scenarios is essential. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Demonstrate the strength and credibility of Oracle's Core Technology, Data Integration, Cloud, and Engineered Systems products and solutions.
  • Engage with customers and position Oracle's strategic propositions to their best advantage through technical presentations, discussions, hands-on workshops, and Proof Of Concepts or performance tests.

Responsibilities
As a Principal Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Formulating and leading pre-sales technical/function support activity to prospective clients while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Acting as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants.
  • Focusing on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions.
  • Developing productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants.
  • Leading any aspects of the technical sales process.
  • Advising internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
  • Designing, building, and delivering customer demonstrations and technology workshops.
  • Participating in or leading customer-specific Proof of Concepts or performance tests.
  • Articulating the credibility of Oracle's Core Technology, Cloud, and Engineered Systems products from technical to board level.

Experience & Expertise Requirements
We expect a minimum of 10 years Oracle core Database & Options knowledge and skills, including:

  • Real Application Clusters, Partitioning, Disaster Recovery (Active DataGuard), DB Multi-tenant, and DB security.
  • Oracle Clusterware and DB installation, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager and Data Integration Solutions (Golden Gate and Oracle Data Integrator).
  • Hands-on experience of Exadata Database machine installation on different deployment scenarios.

Additionally, possessing in excess of 2 years’ experience with Oracle’s cloud offerings, including IaaS & PaaS related to DB & Management, is essential. Azure, AWS, or Google cloud offering expertise and hands-on experience is an advantage.

Work Conditions
This is a hybrid/office-based role requiring a minimum of 3 days a week working from the office.

Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Language Requirements

  • For locations in the UK: fluent English (second EMEA language is an advantage).
  • For locations in France, Germany, Poland, Romania, and the UAE: local language and fluency in English is mandatory.
