Oracle Consulting plays a critical role in Oracle’s cloud solutions. We offer a unique focus on Oracle-based application and technology initiatives by combining leading expertise, broad coverage, global scale, and flexible delivery. The Senior Project Manager role is a challenging opportunity for you to manage full lifecycle Cloud Implementations utilizing Oracle’s OUM or TCM Agile for Cloud methodology. In this role, you will manage multiple cloud projects and be responsible for their successful delivery, collaborating with leaders across Oracle Consulting, Technology, Development, and Support.

Responsibilities

  • Overall performance responsibility for managing scope, team, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management.
  • Project Leadership: Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of Oracle cloud projects, ensuring alignment with customer goals and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations, including interaction with CIOs, CTOs, IT Architects, and Business representatives.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor cross-functional on-shore and off-shore teams, fostering collaboration and innovation in cloud solutions.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-revenue effectiveness and resource optimization.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Issue Management: Methodically manage complex business and logistical challenges, developing solution strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track project progress and performance metrics, adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Technology Oversight: Stay current with cloud technologies and industry trends, recommending solutions and improvements.
  • Documentation: Ensure all project documentation is maintained and updated, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in project management, with at least 3 years in cloud-related projects.
  • Certifications: PMP, Agile, or other relevant project management certifications preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., OCI, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related technologies.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to present complex information clearly.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work well remotely and on-site with a diverse project team.
  • Language: Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Specific Experience: Previous implementation experience of Oracle applications and/or technology products.
  • Partnership and Relationship: Quickly establishes and nurtures long-term customer and supplier relationships.
  • Presentation Skills: Significant C-level presentation experience.
