Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented IS&T Manager (Aviation) to join our team! The Information Technology Manager is responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure and operations within our aviation construction program.
The IT Manager leads a team of IT professionals, manages IT projects, and ensures the efficient and secure functioning of technology systems. Responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage the IT department, supervising and mentoring IT staff, setting departmental goals, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with program goals and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to assess technology needs and requirements, proposing solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and security.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of hardware, software, networks, and systems infrastructure.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the program's data, systems, and information by implementing appropriate security measures and protocols.
- Plan and manage IT projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timelines.
- Evaluate and select vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with external technology service providers.
- Monitor and analyze technology trends and developments, making recommendations for technology upgrades and enhancements.
- Develop and implement IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize the impact of potential disruptions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff members, troubleshooting issues and ensuring prompt resolution.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role.
- Extensive experience in leading large IT projects and implementing IT infrastructure across various technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of networks, security, computer systems, and database storage systems.
