This role encompasses the entire lifecycle of metro system development, from conceptual design through testing and commissioning, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of all subsystems, including signaling, telecommunications, power supply, automatic fare collection (AFC), and operations control systems. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in metro and rail projects, technical expertise in system architecture, and a strong track record in testing, commissioning, and validation of complex infrastructure systems.

  • Requirements and Design Management: Analyze project requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system-level design and performance. Ensure end-to-end traceability and compliance with contractual, operational, and regulatory requirements.

  • Integration and Interoperability: Lead the integration of hardware and software components across subsystems to ensure seamless interoperability. Establish integration protocols for signaling, rolling stock, passenger information systems, and control systems.

  • Testing and Commissioning: Develop and implement testing strategies and commissioning plans for validating the system architecture and subsystem integration. Oversee factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and system-level commissioning activities.

  • Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance to multidisciplinary teams, including contractors and vendors. Conduct technical reviews and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues.

  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure system design, integration, and commissioning activities comply with international standards such as IEC, ISO, IEEE, and EN.
