Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI and data science, particularly focusing on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Financial Fraud detection. The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced AI models and algorithms to detect, monitor, and investigate financial crimes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Lead end-to-end machine learning projects, from data collection and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into existing systems and workflows.
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of deployed models through rigorous testing and validation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data scientists and engineers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and cloud technologies and apply them to solve complex business problems.
• Comply with relevant policies and procedures regarding quality, safety, information security, risk management, and governance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s/PhD in Computer Science or Machine Learning, with more than 7 years of industry experience.
• Strong experience in machine learning and data science, with a focus on developing and deploying models on cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud, including services like AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or Google AI Platform.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferable Skills:

• Experience with MLOps and CI/CD pipelines for machine learning model deployment.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with data engineering and ETL processes.
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and their applications.
• Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies.
