About the Job
Presight is looking for a focused and insightful Specialist Business Intelligence to support its operational strategy and enhance overall business efficiency via BI-driven market research, trend analysis, and data visualization. As a Specialist in our team, you will be responsible for managing the analytical data platform to create business solutions, overseeing the implementation of systems, and the ongoing maintenance of those solutions.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage BI solutions
- Create standard reports and functional dashboards as per requirements
- Collaborate with business users to understand their needs
- Review and validate customer data as it’s collected
- Maintain dashboards and reports
- Support data analytic platforms
- Coordinate with Data/Business Analysts and customers to develop business requirements and specifications documents
- Travel to customer sites as needed
- Join on-call engineer rotation to provide off-hours support for critical service issues
- Identify and implement workarounds for customer incidents
- Collaborate in a multicultural and diverse environment
- Convey and receive information clearly and consistently
- Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of practical knowledge in creating application and business solutions on data analytical tools (Kibana, Tableau, or other equivalent tools)
- 1+ years of Kibana Knowledge is a must
- 2+ years of experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Ideally, you’ll also need
- In-depth market and domain knowledge
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Understanding of data visualization tools & techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
