Position

About the role:

  • Deliver large scale Airline Retailing Transformation program in alignment with the organization’s strategic plans and objectives.
  • Lead the selection and facilitate procurement of the suitable Airline Offer and Order Management System
  • Design the migration journey from the current Passenger Services System (PSS) to the new Offer and Order Management System (OOMS)
  • Working with Solution and Technical Architects, create roadmap and deliver the relevant integrations with the Digital and Enterprise Applications
  • Guide Business Teams in Change Management from PSS to OOMS
  • Work with Qatar Airways Alliance partners in identifying integration opportunities and implementing them as part of the Product roadmap
  • Setup post-implementation Service Delivery Processes for the OOMS and its ecosystem
  • Work closely with business leaders (VPs and above), in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Drive innovation to ensure that solutions drive value to the business.
  • Drive communication plan, engage stakeholders across business functions, controlling and reporting progress to the Steering Group/Sponsor and escalating any issues, as appropriate, in a timely manner.
  • Identify inter-dependencies between the various stakeholder groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are identified, mitigated and communicated.
  • Ensuring appropriately skilled resources are delivering the project and managing the availability and performance of those consultants.
  • Oversee and supervise employees, mentor, coach and build technology competence in the delivery resources, manage their career aspirations
  • Liaise with external 3rd party suppliers and internal departments / IT teams to collaborate and design and implement robust, secure solutions

QualificationsKnowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience predominantly Finance applications.
  • Airline Commercial and Operations Domain knowledge.
  • Experience in implementing and supporting Airline PSS
  • Should possess large program / project delivery execution experience through onsite/offshore model, vendor management, mobilizing large teams and worked across multiple technology platforms and tools.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the delivery teams, work closely with the project managers to manage the Project Schedules / timelines
  • Expertise in Agile/Waterfall software development methodologies
  • Experience with Design Thinking, Lean Software Management, DevSecOps, and Engineering Platform concepts etc. are beneficial to be considered for this role.
  • Knowledge in Information security standards like ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal) and presentation skills, at organization leadership levels
  • Excellent problem-solving and solutioning mindset
  • Must be a Go-Getter with a positive attitude, Self-motivating, innovative, open-minded, and inspiring
  • PMI or other industry-leading certifications around Project Management, Agile methodologies are preferred.
