Rackspace is a leading global professional services company, recognized for its excellence in cloud transformation and managed services. We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead, implement, coordinate, and monitor Professional Services projects from initiation through delivery for complex client engagements. Our Project Managers build relationships with customers to identify new opportunities, serving as a liaison between internal and external technical and non-technical departments to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver results, ensuring that technical projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Arabic language proficiency is essential.
Responsibilities
- Work with Rackspace and client stakeholders to gather and document requirements that address customer pain points or objectives through project outcomes and benefit realization.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and Rackspace technical and non-technical departments, ensuring all targets and requirements are met.
- Oversee the successful technical deployment, functional rollout, and user enablement for the agreed bill of material within defined timelines.
- Provide technical support and feedback throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Build and maintain a network of cross-functional technical resources within Rackspace and relative partnerships to enhance productivity and resolve issues quickly.
- Contribute to refining the Rackspace Professional Services methodology.
- Drive the value of Rackspace to potential and existing customers, providing FANATICAL support.
- Manage the scope, planning, monitoring, and execution of technical projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring compliance with schedule, budget, cost, and quality tolerances.
- Prepare key project documents (PID, plans, logs, reports) and ensure proactive identification and management of project risks and issues.
- Manage changes to the project baseline by assessing variances and evaluating impacts through rigorous change control processes.
- Monitor the delivery of project deliverables from third parties and track progress through continuous communication with all project members.
- Prepare and present reports on project progress and issues to Rackspace and client stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFP/RFI responses, & Statements of Work (SoW), analyzing and developing scope, duration, deliverables, resources, risks, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Collaborate regularly with Sales pursuit teams, Programme & Project Managers, Technical Consultants, Solutions Architects, Partners, and other cross-functional teams during presales and project delivery.
Requirements
- PMP/Prince2 (Practitioner) certification.
- Proven ability to organize and execute projects consistently and reliably.
- Experience in implementing IT Infrastructure, Cyber Security, or Cloud projects.
- Project management experience in scoping, planning, leading, and monitoring technical projects, preferably in IT Infrastructure or Cloud.
- Technical conversational knowledge of Public Clouds, specifically Microsoft Azure, data platforms design, deployment, and support on Microsoft Azure.
- Ability to lead technical teams and experience in vendor management.
- Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills.
- Capability to resolve problems promptly and communicate technical information clearly.
- General knowledge of cloud technologies, IT operations, and project management operations.
- Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment with shifting priorities and ambiguity.
- Enterprise-level use of the MS Office suite, including Project and Visio, and knowledge of other project management tools.
- Experience in infrastructure technology projects.
- Fluency in Arabic.
