In this role, you will collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, Data Scientists, and other team members in a cross-functional and distributed environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with colleagues to identify and define user and business problems.
- Taking ownership of projects by defining key metrics and ensuring their success.
- Conducting research and testing to support the development of new products and the launch in new territories.
- Designing products from wireframes to end-to-end workflows and prototypes, emphasizing simplicity and attention to detail.
- Facilitating user testing workshops and implementing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with the technical team to refine and present final solutions during design reviews.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in designing complex commercial applications.
- A strong portfolio showcasing product design work across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
- Ability to think strategically about product design and articulate design decisions effectively.
- Understanding of technical implications of design choices.
- Strong UX focus, with a clean visual design sense and skills in typography and grids.
- A passion for problem-solving and a commitment to continuous learning and personal growth.
Nice to Have:
- Technical higher education (BS/MS) in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in programming and coding simple prototypes.
- Background in designing and maintaining cross-platform design systems.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
