Core Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the cyber/fraud threat landscape through open source channels, vendor feeds, and participation in industry/regulatory information sharing organizations.
  • Manage the delivery of timely, accurate, relevant, and actionable intelligence.
  • Analyze cyber/fraud news on possible threats, including the bank’s status and required actions as necessary.
  • Conduct technical analysis of malicious and suspicious code to understand the nature of the threat and to extract unique attributes for proactive defense.
  • Identify processes for automation and orchestration to ensure maximum efficiency in the collection and dissemination of consolidated threat intelligence feeds to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Support the development and implementation of mitigation strategies to prevent the potential materialization of threats.
  • Maintain SAB Threat Intel capability for collection, considering market and business requirements and regulatory mandates such as SAMA CSF, CTI principles, and National Cyber Security Authority (NCA) requirements.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and KRIs of Cyber/Fraud Intelligence & Threat Analysis and ensure continuous monitoring and reporting.
  • Contribute to information sharing efforts across the financial industry to promote a positive image of the bank with peers and regulators.
  • Support the development of internal SAB capabilities, leveraging SAB's footprint to understand the latest tactics, techniques, and procedures of advanced adversaries through direct observation and manipulation.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cyber-security, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, and/or commensurate demonstrated work experience in a similar field.
  • Preferred experience in a Cyber Security role, preferably in the finance or similarly regulated sector.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English; Arabic is preferred.
