Senior Specialist Cyber Security

The Senior Specialist Cyber Security is responsible for executing advanced levels of assigned tasks and functions as detailed in the “Nature of Work Statement.” This position includes a variety of key accountabilities:

• Policies & Procedures: Follow all relevant cybersecurity policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure work is consistently controlled.
• Day-to-Day Operations: Implement daily operations in cybersecurity to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.
• Specific Accountabilities:
  • Perform advanced-level tasks mentioned in the “Nature of Work Statement.”
  • Lead the development of cybersecurity operating methodologies and continuous improvement of these methods.
  • Supervise tools and techniques to identify cyber-attacks and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements such as data protection and telecommunication laws.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Assurance (IA), Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in a relevant field and 2 years at a supervisory level.
