About the Job:
The Data Center Operations Team at ServiceNow is responsible for the planning, hardware installation and configuration, optimization, operations, and ongoing maintenance of data centers. Responsibilities include overseeing systems performance, monitoring equipment, and managing vendor relationships. This role involves capacity planning and continual assessments for process improvements to ensure processes are well-documented, sustainable, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Available for 24/7 support as needed, including off-hours for scheduled maintenance and emergencies.
- Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal Service-Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Hands-on experience in hardware replacement with servers and network appliances.
- Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and maintain extensive experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center IT equipment.
- Manage vendors in a data center environment and coordinate the onsite delivery and shipping of all equipment.
- Be willing to work and relocate to Neom/Tabuk/Dammam.
Qualifications:
- Experience in integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related IT field, along with relevant certifications and/or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years in data center operations with hands-on experience working with racks and servers.
- Knowledge of networking/server architecture and hardware.
- Strong focus on processes and experience in developing them.
- Excellent communication, customer focus, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in building new data center sites and managing ongoing responsibilities in the Data Center.
- General documentation skills with emphasis on technical processes.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, CCNA, CompTIA Hardware, and experience with CISCO, Juniper, and other networking devices.
