Position

As the IT Business Partner of the Switching Gears factory in Dammam, you will lead the setup of the factory's IT landscape, covering everything from network infrastructure to advanced data analytics. You will have a significant role in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders. A key part of your responsibilities includes hands-on involvement in digital initiatives, supervising operational technology for the Smart Factory and recommending improvements.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Lead the IT setup for a new factory, focusing on infrastructure, applications, and automation.
  • Engage with diverse collaborators to ensure effective communication and collaboration across teams and organizational units.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of factory operations to develop and implement digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Empower and lead the team, delegating tasks effectively to drive departmental efficiency.
  • Analyze complex situations to identify issues and implement informed resolutions, ensuring IT resiliency and availability.
  • Act as a consultant for digital transformation, leading global/local IT projects and serving as the liaison between business needs and digital solutions.

What You Bring:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Expertise in digital manufacturing and modernizing operational technology environments.
  • Proven experience in managing and implementing digital projects successfully.
  • Strong understanding of applications and IT infrastructure, along with knowledge of financial and cybersecurity regulations.
  • Ability to manage business information related to IT services and projects, including cost calculation, budgeting, and financial transparency.
  • Proficiency in English; familiarity with SAP or Oracle Agile PLM and experience in Grid Technology are advantageous.
