FIRCO Techno Functional Consultant – Design Architect

Synechron is seeking an experienced FIRCO Techno Functional Consultant – Design Architect to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of compliance projects within the banking domain.

The role involves managing compliance projects and business-as-usual (BAU) initiatives for banks in a multi-jurisdiction environment. You will implement Firco service line projects, including Payments and Name screening systems, design and develop Firco screening solutions in complex banking settings, and integrate these solutions with core banking applications. Ensuring that customer reporting requirements are met for compliance and regulatory purposes is also crucial. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the overall architecture of Firco solutions at assigned clients and preparing design and architecture artifacts with a focus on integrating Firco solutions with various banking applications.

Knowledge & Experience:

• 10-15 years of professional work experience in Banking IT, specifically in compliance.
• Experience with FIRCO Continuity, Firco Trust, and Firco Screen.
• Proficiency in documenting solution designs and architectures.
• Familiarity with payment message formats including SWIFT and regional gateways.

Skills Required:

• Strong project management and stakeholder handling abilities.
• Knowledge of compliance domain, risk mitigation, and project management.
• Ability to work in both waterfall and SCRUM delivery models.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly AWS or Azure.
• Proficient in tools like JIRA and Confluence.

• Proficient in English (additional languages may be advantageous but not specified).
