Synechron is urgently seeking a GIS Front-End Developer with over 7 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive web applications using Angular frameworks, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. The role also includes implementing GIS functionalities, integrating mapping services, and collaborating with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular frameworks, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- GIS Integration: Implement GIS functionalities, integrating mapping services and spatial data visualization into applications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and project managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code; conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve front-end issues and bugs, optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for code and application features, ensuring clarity for current and future team members.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements and new tools as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in front-end development, specifically with Angular.
- GIS Knowledge: Familiarity with GIS concepts and experience with mapping libraries (e.g., Leaflet, OpenLayers) or services (e.g., Esri (ArcGIS), Google Maps API).
- Database Skills: Familiarity with SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (TypeScript preferred).
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., NgRx).
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
