As a Sr. Product Designer, you will be at the forefront of delivering top-notch product experiences for our users. You will integrate within our Product Squads while owning the entire design process for the focus area.
What’s On Your Plate?
- Develop deep domain knowledge of your squad's product area and collaborate with your manager to solve complex problems.
- Conduct generative research and synthesizing insights to design a delightful customer experience.
- Minimize assumptions in your design process and define focus areas with the PM.
- Gather continuous feedback from users through different stages of the problem-solving process.
- Create simple, elegant solutions to complex interaction problems with a high attention to detail.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops focused on achieving desired outcomes.
- Use and evolve our design system to create flows, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity visuals.
- Evaluate and continuously improve user experience using a variety of metrics.
- Continuously enhance design processes, knowledge, and tools.
- Foster collaboration within the design chapter and contribute to a supportive culture.
- Present your work for peer and stakeholder review and feedback.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a creative culture.
What you need to be successful
- Minimum 3-5 years of full-time UX & UI design experience in an agile consumer-focused organization.
- Effective problem solver with experience in using frameworks such as double diamond and design thinking.
- Minimum 3 years of experience researching with users using various qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Experience organizing workshops/sessions with different stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Invision, and Zeplin.
- An outstanding portfolio showcasing thought process and advanced understanding of user experience.
- Understanding of shipping top-notch design and what details matter at each stage of the release cycle.
- Knowledge of validating hypotheses through qualitative and quantitative data.
- Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions and inspire action.
- Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Humble, curious, and open-minded with a growth mindset who thrives on feedback and learning.
- Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts/Design/Marketing/Graphic Design/Visual Communication/Multimedia Graphics/Computer Sciences.
