About Tamara's Builders Program – Undergraduate Track: This program is designed for exceptional Saudi graduates and provides a comprehensive and hands-on experience aimed at accelerating personal and professional growth. Participants will work closely with an executive mentor on company-wide initiatives, gaining practical experience while addressing live business challenges. Successful completion may lead to further opportunities within the company based on performance.

As a Cybersecurity Intern/Co-Op, you will support Tamara’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team in protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. Activities include monitoring security practices, assessing vulnerabilities, and contributing to security awareness initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring cybersecurity policies, procedures, and practices across the company.
  • Support tracking and documenting security incidents and responses.
  • Perform basic vulnerability assessments or security checks under supervision.
  • Contribute to third-party risk reviews and vendor security assessments.
  • Research emerging cyber threats, trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare cybersecurity awareness content and internal training materials.
  • Maintain records of security audits, penetration tests, and risk assessments.
  • Participate in discussions on improving our security posture and resilience.

Your Expertise:

  • Experience: Undergraduate student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Projects or internships related to cybersecurity or IT security are a plus.

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles (e.g., CIA triad, access control, encryption).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools or concepts such as firewalls, endpoint protection, or SIEM.
  • Strong research and documentation skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive data with integrity and discretion.
  • Good written and verbal communication (English required; Arabic is a plus).
