Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation, upgrade, planning, designing, and maintaining Oracle databases (19c, 12c, 11g, 10g, 9i) on multiple RAC nodes.
- Multitenant Database upgrade to 19c from previous versions in OCI Exadata.
- Quarterly PSU patching on Grid/Multitenant Database using dbaascli, exadbcmulti utility in OCI Exadata infrastructure.
- Oracle RAC database cloning in Exadata infrastructure.
- Implementation, upgrade & managing Oracle Connection Manager 19c.
- OEM 13c installation and management to monitor various databases/applications/hosts running on Exadata.
- Knowledge of Dom0/U patching in Exadata infrastructure.
- Monitoring, managing & troubleshooting Tablespace, Datafiles & Oracle ASM disk group.
- Database migrations from physical to virtual servers and vice versa.
- Implementation and performance of RMAN backups & recovery.
- Cross-platform migration from Big Endian to Small Endian format OS and vice versa.
- Troubleshooting cluvfy and handling common issues during RAC installation and deinstallation.
- Troubleshooting & fixing RAC related issues (split brain, RAC recovery, ASM, OCR corruptions, Voting disk loss, etc.).
- RAC Node addition and deletion.
- Implementation and management of standby and DR sites.
- Performing switchover and failovers from production to DR sites and vice versa.
- Performance Tuning Skills - Analyzing AWR report, oswatcher, exatcher, etc.
- Understanding and mitigating security vulnerabilities identified through vulnerability scans.
