About the Job:
Thales is looking for a Project Manager to join our Platforms Services & Delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time while delivering solutions that align with both customer requirements and our commitments. Your contributions will be critical in achieving customer satisfaction, which is essential for business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive projects to meet deadlines, quality specifications, and profitability objectives.
- Deliver cost-effective and easy-to-operate solutions that generate value.
- Provide visibility into project progress, manage resources, and address issues.
- Manage financial aspects of projects, including costs and revenue.
- Oversee project risks and implement related action plans.
- Handle change requests and identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain communication with stakeholders, including Solution Managers and Technical Leaders.
- Organize and lead project reviews and manage customer acceptance of delivered solutions.
- Prepare and update logs documenting project events and support future claims.
- Report to senior management on project progress and forecasts.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, specifically in software development or service operation.
- Certification in PMI/PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
- An Engineer or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (mandatory).
- Ability to manage project scope and requirements autonomously, and utilize Microsoft Project.
- Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- Problem-solving and team-building capabilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
